At Exif Cleaner, your privacy is our top priority. We have built this tool with a "Privacy by Design" approach. We believe that you shouldn't have to sacrifice your personal data to use professional-grade metadata removal tools.

2. Zero Data Retention

Our core principle is simple: We do not store your images.

• Images are uploaded to a secure, temporary, and volatile directory.
• Processing happens instantly in server-side memory.
• Files are set to auto-delete within minutes of processing.
• Once you close your session, your data is unreachable.

3. No Tracking & No Cookies

We do not use tracking cookies, we do not follow your movements across the web, and we do not build user profiles. We don't even ask for your email address to use the basic metadata cleaning service.

4. Metadata Handling

Our stripping engine removes all EXIF, GPS, IPTC, and XMP metadata from your files. This includes GPS coordinates, camera serial numbers, software versions, and timestamp data. We do not keep a log of the metadata we remove.
